Tim Middleton is a professional in the IT Industry, but has been arranging and composing music in his spare time for the last 35 years. He has arranged music for various ensembles including Brass, Concert & Big Bands as well as various String ensembles. He has also composed a number of original pieces for both Concert Band and Piano.
Tim's arrangements are being played by many bands throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA and UK including Junior school Concert Bands, A-grade Brass and Concert Bands and professional bands.
In 2013 Tim was commissioned to arrange the music for St Stephen's School Carramar (WA) original adaptation of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". This was a successful production and required arranging of approx. 20 songs for a small band comprised of professional musicians.
He has also spent time playing Trumpet, Cornet and Piano in various bands in Western Australia for the last 30 years including Canning City Brass Band and 10 years in the "Australian Army Band Perth" as an Army Reservist. During his time in the Army Band he arranged many pieces, of which some are still being played today.
Tim is also an accomplished Copyist having carried out work for the Stage Door School of Performing Arts as well as overseas and local artists.
